Why I Moved From AWS to GCP (And Never Looked Back)
This might be controversial. I started on AWS. EC2, RDS, S3. It worked. But something always felt off. The console was a maze. The documentation felt like it was written by lawyers. I spent more time managing than building. Then a new job forced me to use Google Cloud. At first I resisted. But then I discovered the UI. It's clean. It's intuitive. I found things without Googling. The documentation has actual examples. IAM made sense instead of being a nightmare. Cloud Run changed how I think about deployment. BigQuery made analytics feel like magic. I'm not saying AWS is bad. It's just that GCP feels like it was designed by engineers for engineers, not by accountants for enterprises. Three years later, I'm a GCP convert. My only regret is not switching sooner.
