UPSC Form Last Date – What Happens After?
UPSC does NOT accept late applications under any circumstances. The last date is usually in March 6:00 PM. After that, the portal closes. No late fee option. Within 2 days, the correction window opens for 7 days. Then, in about 4-5 weeks, the admit card is released. If you missed the form, you have to wait for the next year. However, if UPSC extends the date due to technical glitches (rare), they announce on https://upsc.gov.in. Don't rely on that. Many candidates wait until the last day – servers get slow. So submit at least 3 days early. After submission, keep checking for 'Discrepancy' emails. If any, respond within 2 days. This article gives a post-submission timeline.
