Correction Guide
UPSC Form Correction Window: What You Can and Cannot Edit
After submitting the UPSC form, you get a correction window – usually 7 days after the last date. You can edit: exam center, photo, signature, educational details, and communication address. You cannot edit: name, date of birth, father's name, OTR ID, or category (once claimed). Correction fee: Rs.100 for each change (except photo/signature which is free). To edit, login at https://upsconline.nic.in, go to 'Correction Window'. Make changes, pay fee if applicable, and re-submit. Important: no correction for the mains DAF later. So check everything before final submit. Many candidates miss the correction window because they don't check email. UPSC sends no separate reminder. So set a calendar alert. This guide shows a checklist to verify after submission.
