Capturing the Moment
Getting a new camera can be intimidating with all its buttons and modes. The best advice I ever got was to start by understanding the exposure triangle: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Think of it as a triangle. Aperture controls how much light comes in and affects background blur. Shutter speed controls how long light is captured, freezing motion or creating blur. ISO is your sensor’s sensitivity to light. Play with these three, and you can leave the auto mode behind. But the technical side is only half the story. The real art is in seeing light. Pay attention to how it falls on faces and landscapes. The golden hour, just after sunrise or before sunset, makes everything look magical.
