I Used Only AI Tools for a Week. Here’s What Broke.

AI tools experiment week
Last week I decided to go all in. ChatGPT for emails. Midjourney for presentation images. Otter for meeting notes. Even an AI fitness coach that yelled at me in text. Day one felt like magic. I wrote ten emails in five minutes. Day two was fine. Day three got weird. The AI calendar scheduled a lunch with itself. My AI note-taker summarized a joke as a serious action item. By day five, I missed stupid human things. Like guessing what a coworker meant by tone. Or drawing a bad sketch on a whiteboard. AI is fast but it’s also literal. It doesn’t get sarcasm. It doesn’t know when to shut up. And it definitely doesn’t understand office inside jokes. The experiment ended with me turning off three tools and just calling a friend. Progress isn’t always better. Sometimes slower is smarter.
