How to Study for FFMG If You Are Working or Doing Internship – Time Management That Works
Time Management for FFMG
Many FMGs work in clinics or hospitals while preparing. It's hard but possible. Here's how. Wake up at 5 AM. Study 5 to 7 AM – two hours of fresh mind time. Do only high-yield topics in these hours – Medicine and Surgery. Go to work from 8 AM to 2 PM. During lunch break (15 minutes), solve 10 MCQs on your phone. Don't scroll Instagram. After work, you'll be tired. Take a 30 minute nap. Then study 4 PM to 6 PM – two hours of Pathology and Pharmacology. Take a break. Then 7 PM to 8:30 PM – one more hour of revision. So total study = 5 hours on work days. On your day off, study 8 hours. Use weekends to give full mock tests. Another trick: listen to audio lectures while commuting. Record your own notes and play them back. Also, tell your colleagues you are preparing. They might help by giving you lighter duties near exam time. Most importantly, sleep at least 6 hours. Without sleep, memory fails. I've seen working FMGs clear FFMG in the first attempt just by being consistent with 5 hours daily. You can too.
