Best Books & Free Resources for FFMG – Don't Waste Money on Too Many Books
I see FMGs buying 20 books and finishing none. Stop. You only need three types of resources. First, one good review book – choose between FMGE Solutions by Mudit Khanna or Rohan's Rapid Review. That's it. Don't buy both. Second, previous year question banks. Download free PDFs from Telegram channels like FMGE Aspirants or FFMG Prep India. Last 10 years' papers are enough. Third, mobile apps – Prepladder FMGE section (free for basics), Marrow FMGE (paid but good), or even YouTube channels like FMGE Crusaders. Free YouTube lectures on Pathology and Pharmacology are surprisingly good. For Anatomy, use Netter's flashcards free PDF. Don't buy full textbooks like Guyton or Robbins – too deep for FFMG level. Remember, FFMG tests your clinical knowledge, not research-level depth. Also use the NMC's official FMGE past papers from their website – completely free. One more thing: join a WhatsApp group of FFMG aspirants. They share daily MCQs and important updates. But mute the group during study hours. Too much noise will distract you.
